Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

Effective June 4, 2026

This page contains two documents that govern your use of Krāv: the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Please read both. By creating an account or using any Krāv service, you agree to them.

Skydiving is inherently dangerous and can result in serious injury or death. Krāv credentials reflect one qualified person's opinion of a video of a single jump. They are not a license, certification, or guarantee of skill or safety, and they do not replace proper training, your own judgment, your national governing body's requirements, or the rules and decisions of any dropzone. See Section 4 (Safety & the Nature of Krāv Credentials).

About these documents

Krāv is operated by Krav, LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Krāv," "we," "us," or "our"). These documents cover the Krāv Movement Progression app (a Progressive Web App at krav-pwa.vercel.app and any successor address), the kravtofly.app and kravtofly.com websites, and the related coaching, library, and community features we offer (together, the "Service").

We may offer the Service in more than one language. If a translated version of these documents conflicts with the English version, the English version controls, except where local law requires otherwise.

Part One

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance & eligibility

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the Privacy Policy below. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. The Service is intended for licensed or student skydivers and the coaches, evaluators, and dropzone staff who work with them. You represent that any information you provide about yourself — including your skydiving license, jump count, and home dropzone — is true and accurate.

2. What Krāv is

Krāv is a community and education platform for skydivers. The Movement Progression app lets jumpers track their progression through a structured program, submit video of their jumps for review, and earn "stickers" — credentials signed off by qualified evaluators. Earned credentials can be displayed on a public profile that anyone with the link can verify. The app is provided free of charge. Other Krāv features (such as paid coaching reviews on kravtofly.com) may carry separate fees and terms, which we will make clear at the point of purchase.

The progression program in the app is adapted, with permission, from the Xielo Track & Angle program created by Nico Lesser and the Xielo Team. See Section 10.

3. Your account

You sign in with your email address using a one-time code (a "passwordless" login) handled by our authentication provider. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at admin@kravtofly.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account, and you may not impersonate anyone else.

You can delete your account at any time from the app's Settings. Deleting it closes the account, blocks future sign-in, and removes you from Krāv's public and discovery surfaces. Some records behind the credentials you earned or signed off are kept afterward, because other people's credentials can depend on them. We explain exactly what is removed and what is retained in Privacy Policy, Section 6.

4. Safety & the nature of Krāv credentials

Read this section carefully. It is the most important part of these Terms.

Skydiving and movement flight are inherently dangerous activities that can cause serious injury or death. You participate entirely at your own risk. Krāv does not provide skydiving instruction, does not supervise any jump, and is not present at any dropzone.

A Krāv credential ("sticker"):

  • Is one evaluator's opinion of a single video of a single jump, measured against a checklist. It is not a guarantee that you can safely perform that skill again, in different conditions, or in any particular group or airspace.
  • Is not a license or certification. It does not replace, satisfy, or override the requirements of the United States Parachute Association (USPA) or any other national governing body, the rules of any dropzone, or the law.
  • Does not authorize you to jump anywhere. Every dropzone, dropzone owner, manager, and Safety & Training Advisor (S&TA) makes their own independent decision about who jumps and on what loads. A Krāv credential is information for that decision — never a substitute for it.

You are solely responsible for your own safety, for flying within your actual ability, for following all dropzone rules and the directions of dropzone staff, and for complying with your governing body's requirements. If you are an evaluator, dropzone operator, or S&TA, you remain fully responsible for your own professional judgment; Krāv does not assume any of that responsibility.

5. Your content & videos

To request a sign-off, you upload video of your jump along with notes and other information ("Your Content"). You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant Krāv a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, encode, reproduce, and display Your Content for the purpose of operating and providing the Service — for example, to let an evaluator review your video and to maintain the record behind a credential.

You represent and warrant that:

  • you have the right to upload and share Your Content;
  • you have obtained any necessary consent from other people who appear in or are identifiable in your videos (including other jumpers and camera flyers); and
  • Your Content does not infringe anyone's rights or violate any law.

We may remove content that violates these Terms. We are not obligated to store Your Content indefinitely; see Privacy Policy, Section 6.

6. Evaluators & sign-offs

Evaluators are skydivers who have earned the authority to review and sign off submissions within the program. Evaluators review videos and render decisions (awarding a sticker, or logging a coaching jump) based on their own honest judgment against the program's standards. Evaluator decisions are personal opinions, not statements by Krāv, and Krāv does not independently verify them. Evaluators agree to act in good faith, to give honest feedback, and to use the tool only to evaluate jumps they are qualified to assess. Krāv may suspend or remove evaluator authority for misuse.

7. Public profiles & credentials

The Service is built around publicly verifiable credentials. When you earn a sticker, your public credential page — which includes your name, photo, public handle, the stickers you've earned, the dates, and the evaluators who signed them off — is viewable by anyone with the link, with no account required. This is a core, intended feature, not a bug: a credential is only useful if others can check it. By using the Service you consent to this public display. If you do not want this information public, do not earn credentials on the Service. You may delete your account and remove your public profile as described in Privacy Policy, Section 6.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • submit video that is not your own jump, that misrepresents what happened, or that is edited to deceive an evaluator;
  • falsify your license, jump count, identity, or any other information;
  • impersonate another person, or attempt to earn or grant credentials fraudulently;
  • upload unlawful, harassing, hateful, or infringing content;
  • attempt to break, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data; or
  • use the Service in any way that endangers others or violates the law.

Because credentials inform real safety decisions at dropzones, we treat fraudulent submissions and falsified information as serious violations that can result in immediate removal and revocation.

9. Credential revocation

Credentials are not permanent guarantees. An evaluator or Krāv may revoke a sticker — for example, for a safety or conduct concern, or because it was earned through inaccurate information. Revoking a lower credential may cascade to the higher credentials that depended on it. Revocations are recorded and can be reversed. We may notify affected people (such as the jumper and the evaluator who originally signed off) when a credential is revoked or restored.

10. Intellectual property

The Krāv name, logo, the macron spelling "Krāv," and the look, feel, software, and original content of the Service are owned by Krāv or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. The Track & Angle progression program is used with the permission of the Xielo Team and remains theirs. Sticker and badge artwork may be subject to separate ownership or licensing arrangements. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any of this without permission, except for the limited, personal display of your own earned credentials and share cards that the Service generates for you.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, for authentication, video hosting, and email) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms. The providers we use to process your data are listed in Privacy Policy, Section 5.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY CREDENTIAL, EVALUATION, OR PIECE OF INFORMATION ON THE SERVICE IS ACCURATE OR RELIABLE. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE SKILL, SAFETY, OR FITNESS OF ANY USER, EVALUATOR, OR JUMPER. NOTHING ON THE SERVICE IS SAFETY, MEDICAL, OR LEGAL ADVICE.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KRĀV AND ITS OWNERS, MEMBERS, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE. IN PARTICULAR, AND WITHOUT LIMITATION, KRĀV IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER HARM ARISING FROM ANY SKYDIVE OR FROM ANY DECISION MADE IN RELIANCE ON A KRĀV CREDENTIAL OR EVALUATION, INCLUDING DECISIONS BY DROPZONES, EVALUATORS, OR JUMPERS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (b) USD $100. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Krāv harmless from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of others.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the app's Settings; what deletion does and does not erase is described in Privacy Policy, Section 6. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 5, 10, 12, 13, 14, and 16) will survive.

16. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction — except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.

17. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Questions about these Terms? Email admin@kravtofly.com.

Part Two

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the Service described above.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Account & profile: your email address, name, profile photo, a permanent public handle, your skydiving license level, self-reported jump count, home dropzone, and language preference.
  • Submissions: video of your jumps, the sticker you're requesting, and any notes or context you add.
  • Evaluations & coaching: if you are an evaluator, the decisions, checklist results, per-item comments, and coaching notes you record about other jumpers' submissions.
  • Waitlist & communications: if you join a waitlist or contact us, the email, name, role, and any details you provide.

Information we generate or collect automatically

  • Credential records: the stickers you earn, the dates, the evaluators who signed them off, and any revocations.
  • Usage & device data: pages and features used, actions taken, approximate performance metrics, browser and device type, and similar analytics.
  • Technical & diagnostic data: IP address, log data, and error/crash diagnostics used to keep the Service running and secure.
  • Push subscriptions: if you enable notifications, the technical subscription needed to send them to your device.
  • Cookies & similar technologies: we and our providers use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage.

2. How we use it

We use your information to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account;
  • run the credentialing loop — route submissions to evaluators, record decisions, and issue and display credentials;
  • send you transactional messages and notifications (for example, "your submission was received," a decision, or an award);
  • send you updates or marketing where you've asked us to or where permitted by law (you can opt out at any time);
  • understand and improve how the Service is used, and debug problems;
  • protect the Service and our users — including detecting fraud, abuse, and falsified credentials; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. Information that is public

Some information is public by design because the whole point of a credential is that others can verify it. Your public credential page — your name, photo, public handle, earned stickers, the dates, and the evaluators who signed them off — is accessible to anyone with the link, with no account required, and may appear in share cards and link previews. Information that identifies others may also appear (for example, an evaluator's name on credentials they signed). Do not put anything in a public field that you don't want to be public. See also Terms, Section 7.

4. How we share it

We share information only as described here:

  • With other users, as the Service intends: your submission and profile are shared with the evaluator who reviews it; your public credential is shared with anyone who has the link.
  • With service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract, to run the Service (see Section 5).
  • For legal reasons: to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and property of Krāv, our users, or the public.
  • In a business transfer: if Krāv is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that deal.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Service providers

We use the following providers to operate the Service. They process data on our behalf, for the purposes shown. Depending on which Krāv features you use, not all of them will apply to you.

ProviderWhat it handles
VercelHosting and delivery of the websites and app
SupabaseDatabase and file storage for your account, credentials, and records
MemberstackSign-in and account authentication
MuxHosting, encoding, and streaming of your submitted videos
ResendTransactional email (e.g., decision and award notifications)
MailchimpMarketing / waitlist email lists
Make.comWorkflow automation connecting the above
PostHogProduct analytics and usage measurement
SentryError monitoring and crash diagnostics
UpstashRate limiting and short-lived technical data
SlackInternal operational notifications to the Krāv team
Anthropic, TwelveLabsAI guide and video search (for users who use those features)
StripePayments (only if you purchase a paid Krāv service)
GoogleCalendar scheduling (only for booked coaching)

We may add or change providers as the Service evolves; we'll keep this list current. Each provider handles your data under its own privacy and security terms.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Service. Because credentials form a verifiable record that others rely on, credential records and the evaluations behind them may be retained for the integrity of that record even after individual videos are removed. We may keep certain information longer where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. What happens when you delete your account is described just below.

When you delete your account

You can delete your account at any time from the app's Settings. When you do, we close the account and block future sign-in, and we remove you from every public and discovery surface: your public credential page (at /c/your-handle) stops resolving and returns a "not found" page, and you no longer appear in jumper search, dropzone rosters, or the evaluator picker. To anyone browsing Krāv, your profile is gone.

We do, however, retain the credential record behind your account and the stickers you earned. We keep them for two reasons:

  • Credential integrity. If you signed off other jumpers' stickers as an evaluator, those sign-offs have to stay verifiable — your name remains on the "Signed off by" line of credentials that other people legitimately earned. Erasing your record would break the credential chain for jumpers who did nothing wrong.
  • Audit history. Sign-off and revocation history is preserved for safety and audit purposes.

Deleting your account today is therefore a closure and de-listing, not a full erasure of your personal data. A separate process to erase your personal details — anonymizing your name, email, and photo while leaving the underlying credential records intact — is planned but not yet available. If you need your personal data erased to the extent applicable law requires, email us at admin@kravtofly.com and we will handle your request manually; see also Sections 7, 8, and 9 below.

7. Your rights

You can access and update much of your profile information in the app. You may also ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing messages. To make a request, email admin@kravtofly.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. Note that deleting your account removes your public profile, but does not necessarily erase your name from credentials others have already relied on, or from records we must keep for legal reasons — see Section 6.

8. EU/UK (GDPR) rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Krāv acts as the "controller" of your personal data. We process it under one or more of these lawful bases: to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), our legitimate interests (operating, securing, and improving the Service and maintaining a trustworthy credential record), your consent (for example, marketing email or push notifications), and compliance with legal obligations.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact admin@kravtofly.com.

9. California (CCPA/CPRA) rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request access to and deletion of it, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. The categories we collect and our purposes are described in Sections 1–4 above.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your California rights, contact admin@kravtofly.com. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

10. International transfers

Krāv is based in the United States, and our providers are primarily located in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transport, access controls, and signed, time-limited links for private video playback. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.

12. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact admin@kravtofly.com and we will delete it.

13. Changes & contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Effective" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. For any privacy question or request, contact us at:
